Doc Rocco's New York Style Deli & Market

My girlfriend found this place as we were traveling back from NC to NOVA. It’s maybe a mile off I-95, but was well worth the stop. When we entered, we were greeted by the staff who were very eager to make us feel welcome. The menu is a good selection of sandwiches and pizza. We notice that they had a lunch combo that is a cheese steak, order of fries, and can of soda for just under $12. Never one to resist a good deal, we both ordered the cheese steak combo. After a few minutes, the guy who took our order emerged from the kitchen with two trays with our two sandwiches and orders of fries. You get to select your own drink from a well stocked cooler of various cans of soda (both Coke and Pepsi products). They have a couple of tables outside with sun shades, so we elected to sit outside. The sandwich and fries were both delicious. The meat is cooked perfectly and has just the right amount of juice to make the sandwich succulent but without making the bread soggy. You have a choice of Swiss, white American or cheese whiz. The serving of fries was heaping. We could have split an order and been plenty full. They were cooked and salted perfectly too. This made for a perfect meal after hours of being on the road. I will definitely stop here again, as I want to try their other sandwiches too. The cheese steak will be hard to resist though….This is a great place, as it is low key, the food is simple but delicious, and a great value. A perfect place to stop in the middle of a long drive. I’m sure they do takeout and maybe delivery too. If I lived closer, I would definitely do takeout from here regularly. They make a reliably good deli sandwich for a great price.

First time here and we couldn’t have been happier! Grayson greeted us as we walked in the door and quickly took our order. That young man is just a ray of sunshine - super friendly and upbeat! My caprese sandwich was outstanding. I expected a dense bread but the roll it was served on was nice and light, allowing the cheese and the balsamic glaze to release their full flavor. I asked Grayson if there was any basil in the kitchen and walked over to a pair of basil plants, picked off some leaves, and handed them to me. Talk about fresh! The man ordered the Reuben and he said it was fantastic. Great fresh food, great service, and a clean bathroom to boot. What’s not to like?!

My family and I have been here a few times. Doc Rocco's has blown us away with every visit. The food has been absolutely amazing and the staff is phenomenal!! OG Cheesesteak, French Dip, Pizza all highly recommended. The Strawberry Lemonade is too good! We'll be back!

This is the place for great food! If you are in the mood for subs, Philly cheesesteak and a variety of deserts Doc Rocco is the spot! The freshest bread, the flavor of the their food is simply worth the trip. It has been our destination several times simply because. The staff is always friendly and courteous. The place is exceptionally clean. Beyond ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!

This my second time eating here while I visited the Indian Motorcycle store nearby. The Food is awesome, the service is 100%!!! And so will to assist with a smile and a warm smile!

This was our second time having Docs and first time dining in! The experience was WONDERFUL! Kind, attentive and friendly staff. Food was phenomenal per usual! Classic and build your own and finished it with some nightngales! The man working the front counter around 7:15 on 3/14 had amazing customer service! Will be back for more in person dining!

We LOVE this place! Super Friendly and great food! Our favorites: The Doc, French Dip, Pizza, coleslaw, West Coast with jalapeño’s. We take out 2/3 times a week. Paul and Grayson are Fantastic! We highly recommend them!

Inside has a great deli vibe and the staff is top notch. Got the cheesesteak and it’s just awesome! Plus they give military discounts! Definitely recommend and will be back!!
